How do I register and pay for the 2019 AP Exams? You must register for each AP exam you intend to take. The deadline for registering and paying is March 1, 2019.
You will register for your AP exams on this site for the full amount of all AP exams you plan to take. Click on Order AP Exams to register and submit payment either ONLINE with a credit/card OR by MAIL IN of a check or money order. (Instructions will be provided in your summary email.) Postmark deadline to ensure timely processing of a mail in order is February 25, 2019.
Is there financial aid available for the 2018 AP exams?
Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch status will enter the Fee Reduction Code KRT138 in the appropriate field on the online registration form. Fee reduction code usage will be verified by APTS with CRCSD. Unapproved code usage will result in cancellation of the exam order until full payment is submitted.
What if I have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 plan?
The College Board must approve any changes or modifications to the AP exam administration before test administration.
Please contact your CRCSD school counselor by February 15, 2019 to discuss accommodations.
What may I bring with me to the exam room?
Students MUST bring their student ID, pencils, pens in blue or black ink, and a calculator (if applicable).
Students may NOT bring cell phones, iPads, Smartwatches or MP3 players or highlighters into the exam room. Cell phones and electronic communication device, backpacks and bags, including purses, should be left at home. Please review the full AP Test Site Regulations.
Do I need to excuse my absence with other teachers during the exam?
The attendance office will receive a copy of an attendance roster from the exam so you will automatically be excused for the class periods that are affected by the testing. You are responsible for all school work missed during your absence for AP Exams.
Where will my AP Exam be administered?
Almost all exams will be administered at the Educational Leadership Service Center (ELSC.) For detailed information on locations and schedule of exams, please CLICK HERE (Information Pending).
What time do I need to arrive for my AP exam?
For morning exams, students should check in by 7:15 a.m. Morning exam pre-administration begins promptly at 7:45am and testing at 8am. Afternoon exam check in is at 11:15 a.m. Afternoon pre-administration begins promptly at 11:45am and testing at 12pm (noon.) What if I finish the exam early? Can I leave early?
Per College Board’s security regulations for exams, students may not leave the test until time is called and all examinees are excused together. If a student leaves without permission, their exam will be collected and submitted separately to College Board. Their score will be cancelled and no refund will be possible. College Board does make provisions for students affected by extenuating circumstances. College Board is, however, very strict regarding what qualifies as a reason to request Late Testing (see below). Late Testing is from May 22-24, 2019 and may incur an additional fee of $45 per late test. Due to the nature of the exams, CRCSD does not offer Late Testing for Music Theory or any of the World Language exams.

* Students with two exams scheduled at the exact same date and time, or with three exams scheduled on one day, should complete their online registration order form as usual. If you are registering in such a situation, you will be contacted by AP Test Service to alert you which exam(s) you have been assigned to for Late Testing (alternate test date).
** If you are anticipating that you need to apply for Late Testing due to a sports/athletics conflict, you will have an opportunity to request a late test as part of the online registration/ordering process. Per College Board regulations, a student who is approved for Late Testing due to a sport conflict will need to submit a $45 Late Testing Fee. AP Test Service will be able to assist you with that fee submission. CRCSD will pay the $45 Late Test fee costs ONLY for District or State level athletic events.
If you need to request late testing after you have completed registration, you must contact AP Test Service at email@example.com no later than May 8, 2019.
