Read all sections below carefully. You will be asked to verify as part of the  process that you have read and understood all the policies and regulations below. Click on “Order AP Exams” when ready to place your order.

Deadline to Register: March 5, 2018

  1. Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations must be paid for and ordered in advance.
  2. All registration for AP tests will be completed online through APTS by clicking on “Order AP Exams.” There is no paper registration.
  3. Non-HHS students or homeschooled students who wish to test at Holliston High School need to contact info@aptestservice.com to seek approval.
  4. Registration opens January 15, 2018 and closes on March 5, 2018.
  5. The cost of each AP exam is $95.
  6. Late registration will be possible until March 20 with a per fee exam of $105.
  7. All exams must be pre-paid and pre-ordered via the online system, which accepts credit or debit card payments. A 3% payment fee is added to the order for credit card or debit card payments. To mail in payment in the form of check or money order, please complete the order online and mail a copy of the form to the address provided on the confirmation. Checks should be made payable to “AP Test Service” and be postmarked by March 5 to ensure timely processing.
  8. Refund policy:
    1. Changes to registrations by March 20th at 11:59pm EST will be granted a full refund.
    2. Changes to registrations from March 21th until April 30th at 11:59pm EST will be granted an $85 refund per exam ($15 fee for unused returned test).
    3. Changes to registrations/cancellations from May 1st onwards will not be eligible for refund.
    4. Cancellation notification must be submitted to cancel@aptestservice.com and include the student’s name, Holliston High School’s name, and the name of the exam the student wishes to cancel.
  9. Holliston is committed to ensuring every student can take an AP exam and will work with families as needed on adjusted fees or a payment installment plan. If a fee reduction is granted a family will be provided with a Fee Reduction Code that will further reduce the price of the exam in the online registration form. To apply for a fee reduction, please contact Ms. Dominique Ross – rossd@holliston.k12.ma.us – with questions about fee reductions.
  10. Special accommodations for students with 504s or IEPs must be applied for and approved by College Board. Check with your guidance counselor to review your status. If you do not have approval from the College Board, you will not be provided accommodations. The deadline for submission of applications to the College Board for accommodations is February 23, 2018.
  11. All students taking AP exams will be required to attend a pre-administration session during DSB on Tuesday April 24th. Students MUST complete the pre-administration prior to May 1st.
  12. Non-HHS students should visit the Holliston High School Guidance department any time from 7:30am – 3pm from Tuesday April 24th through Tuesday May 1st to complete the pre-administration process.
  13. Information regarding testing room locations and start times will be posted in the building after April vacation. This information will also be available through the student’s AP teacher.
