Students enrolled in Advanced Placement courses at Lenape are encouraged to sit for the Advanced Placement Exam.

Students who do not attend Lenape must contact the Guidance Department to discuss the opportunity to register for Advanced Placement Exams at Lenape.  These considerations will be made on a case by case basis.

All exams must be pre-ordered and pre-paid via the online system, which accepts credit card and debit payments as well as mail-in payment options.  There will be no paper registrations. Click here to order exams.

Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations must be paid for and ordered in advance using the online registration system.  Registration for May 2017 Advanced Placement Examinations runs from  January 16, 2017 through February 5, 2017 (midnight EST). The registration fee is $100 per exam. 

Fee reductions sponsored by the College Board are available to families who meet the federal eligibility requirements for Free/Reduced Lunch.  A copy of this application can be found by using the search feature on the Lenape Valley HS website. Approval may take several days so it is critical to apply early.  Students found eligible according to this criteria may receive a fee waiver code form Ms. Kochan in the Guidance Department.  Fee waiver codes are available from Monday, January 16, 2017 through February 3, 2017.  Please see Ms. Kochan prior to registering for the Advanced Placement Examinations.  No consideration can be given once you have completed the exam registration.

Special accommodations for students with 504s or IEPs must be applied for and approved by College Board. Check with your case manager or counselor to review your status. Application for accommodations takes approximately 7 weeks—your request for accommodations must be submitted by your case manager to College Board no later than February 1 of this year. If you do not have approval from College Board, you will not be provided accommodations.

If you inadvertently register for the wrong test, you must contact APTS no later than Monday, February 5, 2017 via info@aptestservice.com.   The test fee may be applied to the correct exam at that time.

If a student registers for an exam and elects not to take the exam, the student will receive a partial refund to cover the cost of returning the unused exam to the College Board and the processing fee incurred by APTS.  Students wishing to cancel an exam and receive back $97.65 must do so in writing by March 3, 2017 by emailing cancel@aptestservice.com and including their name, name of our school, and the title of the exam to be cancelled. Cancellations between March 3 and April 20 will receive refunds of only $82.60.

LVRHS is NOT able to offer late testing or make-up testing.  All exams must be taken during the regular exam schedule offered by the College Board.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

All students must participate in a mandatory pre-administration session prior to sitting for exams in May.  The pre-administration session will take place during the normal school day and be scheduled upon receipt of examination materials from the College Board and communicated to your child during the Advanced Placement courses.

Information regarding testing rooms and locations will be determined based on the number of students registering for each exam and will be provided to the students closer to the exam administration date in May.
