Families and students enrolled at Rochambeau, The French International School can register here for the 2017 PSAT/NMSQT exam to be administered during school hours on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.

1. Registration & Fees
Students must register for the 2017 PSAT/NMSQT exam on or before Sunday, October 1, 2017, midnight EST. No late registration is possible. The exam will be administered at the Rochambeau school on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 during school hours. The cost for each exam is $27.00.
Registrants will be expected to attend a mandatory Pre-Administration session on October 6 at 12:30pm. Location information for the pre-administration session and the actual exam will be communicated to registrants.
2. Why take the PSAT/NMSQT exam?
The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is a 2.5-hour version of the College Board’s SAT. The PSAT measures verbal, mathematical, and writing abilities important to success in university and provides practice for taking the SAT later in première. The PSAT can be used to predict performance on the SAT. The PSAT is not used in US university admission; scores will be sent only to the student and to the school.
3. When are scores released?
PSAT results are usually sent to schools in late December and then are released to students via College Board’s online system soon after.
4. Can I cancel my exam and receive a refund?
No. Cancellations and refunds of the exam fees is not possible.
